Burke's Holiday Cottages – Family managed holiday cottages which incorporates the two sister properties Thistledown and Inglewood, both properties can be booked out to accommodate up to 16 guests in total. Located in County Mayo, near to Ballina, are these two lovely dormer bungalow properties, Thistledown and Inglewood. Either booked separately or together, they are a perfect choice to explore this gorgeous county, with its rolling hills and great opportunities for activities. Both properties are furnished with beautiful solid wood furniture and are well-equipped.
Accommodation: Accommodation in both properties is exactly the same layout. They comprise a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living area, separate sitting room, four bedrooms, three doubles, two of which are ensuites (one on ground floor), and one twin room. Outside is a fully enclosed garden, large patio area with garden furniture and a paved driveway.

Home from Home. Absolute fantastic property which far exceeded our expectations. it is stunning both inside and out. scrupulously clean. This property is lovingly cared for by the owner Ray. There was everything we needed and more. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. The setting was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend and we certainly will be back. We are on our way home from a week's holiday in this great property. We can highly recommend it for other holidaymakers that want to visit western Ireland. Ray made us feel very welcome, in a way we have not experienced earlier on our many vacations abroad. Ray thought of every little detail, right down to the fact at the house was stocked with groceries to make sure that we had everything we needed. We have never experienced this before in our many holidays in Europe. Lovely house, great facilities, loads of information on County Mayo and other areas in Ireland. We look forward to coming back. One week was definitely not enough for us.
